OVERVIEW

Cadet League is comprised of 10 year old  and under players as of January 1st of the current year. In the Cadet League, players continue to build on the fundamentals while also being introduced live arm pitching in combination  to the use of a pitching machine. Cadet League stresses the basics of the game and fundamental skills of batting, fielding, and throwing. Cadet League also begins to introduce stealing bases while doing the use of the pitching machine. Batters can also strike out in this league. Pitchers will pitch from 35 feet.

This league will play approximately 12-20 games, through the week with the possibility of Saturdays,  Games are scheduled for 1 hour and 30 minutes long.  Games are played at Battle Ground  and other fields throughout the region.

* - Any player wanting to "Play Up", must pass evaluations to play in an upper division.  They MUST attend evaluations.  Failure to attend, will result in not being considered to "Play Up" a division.  There are no guarantees that a player will be rated capable to play up or the division may not have the space for a player to "Play Up" due to division player numbers.
