12u – This division is for players that have not turned 13
before May 1st and wish to play "kid pitch/live arm" baseball
in our "A/B" formatted rec leagues.  These 12u teams will be "kid pitch/
live arm teams.  Teams in this division will play other "B-level 
rec teams" as well as local 12u Town & Country and 12u
Cal Ripken league teams.  Games will be played on fields with
a 46'-48' pitching mound and 60-75' base dimensions.  Coaches
will place emphasis on the continued development into the
full game of baseball.  Most rules of baseball will apply but 
there will be a heavy focus on getting kids comfortable
pitching and hitting off "kids pitching".  These teams will play
approximately 25 games will play in the end of season rec
tourney. Games have a 1:45 time limit and can be played
Monday-Sunday.

* Any 9 or 10-year old player wanting to play in this
division must have played 1 year of "kid pitch/live arm" and/or have approval from the VP of baseball. 
Exceptions may granted only if space is available on
12U rosters. There are no guarantees that a player will be put in the requested division. 

12u Showcase (if applicable) – This 12u kid pitch team will be put
together at the discretion of the VP of Baseball.  Teams
will be comprised of players that play in the 12u league and do not
turn 13 before May 1st.   This 12u showcase team
will play other local 12u rec showcase teams, 11 and 12 year old travel
teams, as well as local 12u Town & Country and Cal Ripken league teams.

 
This team will typically play Weekend doubleheaders and a tournament
or two.  Games will be played on fields with a 46'-50' pitching mound and
base dimensions may very between 60'-70'.   

This team will play approximately 8-10 games.
